This page is maintained by Ayush World Media Pvt. Ltd. ("Ayush World", "we", "our") and explains how we handle information collected through ayushworld.in.

1. What we collect

Account data from practitioners and businesses who register: name, email, phone, city, business type, AYUSH system, registration number.
Verification documents uploaded by practitioners (council certificates, ID) — stored in a private, encrypted bucket accessible only to our verification team.
Inquiry data from visitors who contact a listing (name, phone/email, message).
Technical data — IP address, browser type, and page views via first-party analytics.

2. How we use it

To verify practitioner credentials against the relevant council (NCISM, NCH, YCB, state directorates).
To connect visitors with listed practitioners via the inquiry form.
To improve search, ranking, and site reliability.
To send transactional messages related to a user's account or subscription.

3. Sharing

Inquiries are forwarded to the listed practitioner or clinic the visitor contacts. We do not sell personal data. Aggregated, non-identifying statistics may be shared publicly (e.g. "Verified practitioners in Pune: 47").

4. Storage & security

Data is stored on Supabase (EU/India regions) with row-level security. Verification documents live in a private bucket accessible only to authorised verifiers. We use TLS for all traffic.

5. Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account at any time by emailing privacy@ayushworld.in. Verification records may be retained for compliance for up to 3 years after account closure.

6. Cookies

We use a first-party cookie to remember your language preference. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
